Hello fellow Midwestern solarpunk! I hear you. I feel like it's all relative though because Michigan sounds like it's a lot nicer for public transit than we have even just over in Wisconsin (to get to the UP from Madison takes more than 12 hours 😢). And out west is even worse. I know there's a long way to go, but I thought the article was a nice example of the attempt to make sustainable travel happen.
