The "teacup orbiting Pluto" argument only applies to specific ideas, such as "a man named Jesus of Nazareth is the son of the Abrahamic God." When talking about a large class of possible constructs for how the universe actually works, you kind of have to form this infinite sum over a probability space of things you have no idea about. This kind of sum is not as infinitesimally improbable than a very specific state that can't be proven, and has led me to accept large classes of unprovable things on at least somewhat equal footing. It's not illegitimate to refuse to do that either. Living with a worldview of "that which is known to be true is all I accept" is totally reasonable. I simply can't maintain that position while simultaneously believing that there is any point to worrying about utility in our universe. I have a long post I once wrote on something I called sub-identity suicide where the result of a thought experiment eradicated this contradiction for me (at least theoretically). https://bonkerfield.org/2019/10/sub-identity-suicide/
