First off, that is an amazing comment. Second, I've been thinking about it this way. Think of a time when you weren't particularly conscious of the actions you were doing, like when tired, or busy focusing on a specific task. Did you still feel the perception of existing during that time? For me I still do feel as though I exist even when I'm clearly just regurgitating words. So why is everyone so sure that a computer regurgitating words isn't feeling that same thing?
