I see what you mean. In terms of the word's origins I think you're right (since it literally means "not place" as in a place that can't exist). I think it's at least a little more useful to think of it in less stark terms than that (someone else suggested it should actually be called eutopia). And as far as "there are no people in society who feel like the system disadvantages them," I think that it isn't as important in terms of whether they think that vs whether it's true. A utopian society can have people who aren't perfectly content within it. The bar for me would be that their discontent is 1) not morally justified and 2) not capable of disrupting the society and pushing it away from utopia.
