So grateful for this writing. I really needed to hear this today. I agree so much with everything you've written. Particularly, > The systems won't change until we, the people, do: we have to imagine and begin to build the world that we want to live in, right here, right now. I think that mantra of let's implement collective change without personal change is the false panacea that's actually slowing progress. But your positive tone is definitely something I need to practice more. Im sure I've come off as quite scoldy when people have brought up the collective change fallacy.
