Sorry, didn't mean to describe you as a hypocrite. Just that without supporting programs like this one, we effectively handicap a major avenue for bringing public awareness. I'd love for us to pull back from consumerism and return us to political citizens. But Im just thinking about what is the best language to wake people up, and for me, the road led through frustration with the consumerist approach. I'm genuinely curious if anyone jumped straight from thoughtless consumption to political action without the intermediate step.
