I'm sorry. I chose the word "walkable" too quickly to make the point. I only meant a society that's ~accessible~ without massive vehicles that need to travel at 90+ mph just so we can get to work. I imagine a world where everyone can get everything they need in a relatively small area using a means of transit that's human scale in size and speed. I believe that world would be even more accessible to those who can't walk than the one where cars are ubiquitous.
