Wow 100% this. I'm really hopeful that this kind of transition is starting now. And absolutely the process needs to become an all-year movement that organically involves politics instead of parachuting in politicians once every 2 years. Are those groups forming faster than that right now? I'm on a cross country bike trip this year meeting many of those groups but I'm not sure how extensive they're really growing. To me it still feels like this will grow over many years, but I hope you're right. My main point in writing here was just a reminder that it's still a two pronged attack. One with growing these movements and another with holding it together with middle of the road politicians to prevent backsliding into an undemocratic dark age.
