Thanks, I totally see that the system isn't designed to make a better choice possible. I'm just arguing that opting out or voting for an unwinnable candidate makes change even harder in the long run. In other words, keeping moderates in power isn't good enough to change anything on it's own, but it's still necessary while we change people's minds.
