Why would the C-suite and the 1% ever change anything that hurts their bottom line? They will never "pay the drivers more" because people in r/antiwork are telling them to. I think the change is only going to come when the top 49% stand in solidarity with the exploited bottom 50%> It's hard to hear, but the developers (and every high-paid worker at a desk) need to understand that whether they like it or not, they are creating the tools and upholding the hierarchy that keeps those drivers in a position of exploitation. Very few people seem to understand that just being a part of the tech empire is contributing to it's continued existence. The fact that the keyboard warriors are soooo upset about having to do 15 minutes of actual labor should be telling us a lot about the existing privilege gap in this country.
