>Seems like a general strike would strengthen the position of coops and vice versa. This is one of the places where co-ops really gain their appeal to me. If we could build a robust, parallel solidarity economy, that could support the material needs of those on strike, making the strike more viable for a long enough period of time to make real changes. That's my dream anyway.
