I was thinking about this too, and it seems to me that the only way around it is to enter the generation-detection arms race. So every new training corpus will have to include an improved filtering model to cull the machine generated text. It's not ideal, but I think we're effectively stuck in this feedback loop at this point. At least until machine and human become intellectually equivalent anyway.
