This is such a crazy coincidence. I'm actually building a very similar apparatus except mine was going to compare events from a radioactive source (a banana). I was in the middle of writing a post to ask the r/physics community whether there is a way to confirm that the randomness of this device is truly quantum in nature. Since you are using muon decay you could imagine that classical processes effect the outcome. For example, if there were periodic fluctuations in the density of atmosphere that would change the event times and make your number generation be caused at least partially by classical effects.
